SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT • SHARE THE MARK • CREATE BUYER MATERIALS
AFTER YOU'RE CERTIFIED
Everything you need to start using Maker Verified.
Once your account is active, you can download your certification materials, set up your website, create announcement graphics, generate buyer letters and decide whether you want a public profile in the directory.
Your Registry Is Ready
Your registry record becomes active with your account. Buyers can verify your name and certification number through the certificate, QR code or verification search.
Your Tools Are in One Place
The member portal gives you access to the certificate, Mark files, badge, QR code, social graphics, watermark tools and buyer certification letters.
Your Public Profile Is Optional
You can build and publish a fuller directory profile when you are ready, or leave it unpublished. Your registry record remains active either way.
GET SET UP
A few simple steps will get everything ready to use.
Start with the account, then move through the tools at your own pace. You do not have to publish a directory profile before using the certificate, QR code or Mark files.
Open Your Account
Use the invitation sent after approval to create your password and enter the member portal.
Download the Basics
Save your certificate, approved Mark files, badge and QR code so they are ready when you begin updating your materials.
Update Your Website
Add the badge or Mark to your website and link it to the verification record so buyers can confirm your certification directly.
Share the News
Use the studio to create an announcement graphic, then share what certification means with your audience.
ADD IT TO YOUR WEBSITE
Make verification easy to find.
The badge and QR code work best when buyers can move from the certification claim to the official registry without having to search for it themselves.
Add the badge to your About page, artist biography, footer, product information or another place where buyers naturally look for information about how the work is made. Link the badge directly to your verification record and use the approved files without changing the proportions, wording or colors.
USE THE CREATOR TOOLS
Build the materials you actually need.
The portal is designed to make the certification useful in day-to-day marketing, not just give you a certificate to save and forget.
Announcement Graphics
Create ready-to-share graphics for Instagram, Facebook and other common formats using your own image and the approved certification elements.
Marketing Watermarks
Place the Maker Verified Mark or badge on approved promotional images so the certification stays visible when the image is shared.
Buyer Certification Letters
Generate a polished letter for a buyer, gallery or recipient with your note, certification dates, QR code and a unique reference number.
Verification QR Code
Use your QR code on signage, packaging, printed portfolios, booth displays and other places where a buyer may want to verify you quickly.
Optional Directory Profile
Add a photo, biography, discipline, location, website and social links, then publish the profile when you want to be included in the directory.
Profile & Account Controls
Update your public profile, change its visibility and manage the account details used for certification communication.
THE PUBLIC PROFILE IS YOUR CHOICE
Use it when you want more than verification.
The registry confirms that you are certified. The optional profile gives buyers more context about who you are and where they can see your work.
You can add your photo, biography, creative discipline, location, website and social links, then publish the profile when it is ready. You can also unpublish or remove it from the directory later without changing the registry record, certificate or QR code.
WHERE TO USE IT
Keep the message simple and put verification close to the claim.
The Mark is most useful when buyers see it at the same moment they are learning about you, your process or your work.
Website & Online Shops
Use the badge on your website, portfolio, About page, shop, product descriptions, email signature and other places buyers already visit.
Social & Marketing
Use announcement graphics, watermarked images, artist bios, press materials and social posts to explain why the certification matters.
In Person & With Buyers
Use the QR code, certificate or buyer letter at shows, markets, gallery conversations, commissions and other direct buyer interactions.
ONE IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITY
Keep the certification connected to a human-led practice.
Normal changes in tools, products or marketing do not need to be reported. If generative AI begins generating or materially determining the defining ideas, artistic expression or creative decisions within your certified creative process, your Maker Verified certification is no longer valid. Your authorization to use the Maker Verified Mark ends immediately, and you may no longer use any certification benefits or materials. You must contact Maker Verified.
