ABOUT THE DIRECTORY
The directory and registry serve different purposes.
Certified artists and makers may choose to publish a directory profile so buyers, galleries and platforms can learn more about the person behind the work.
Directory profile
Optional. A profile may include a photograph, biography, creative discipline, location, website, social links, certification number and a direct path to the official registry record. The artist or maker can update or remove it.
Official registry record
Automatic. A registry record is created when an approved account is activated and remains searchable whether or not a directory profile is published. Publishing or unpublishing a directory profile does not affect the certificate, QR code, registry record or certification.
OFFICIAL REGISTRY
Confirm an artist or maker's certification.
Search the official registry by name or certification number. The registry confirms the individual, certification number and current certification status. It does not separately certify every artwork, product, edition or collection.
