WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Certification materials you can use, backed by a record buyers can check.

CERTIFICATE • REGISTRY RECORD • MARK FILES • CREATOR TOOLS

Approved artists and makers receive a certificate, approved Mark files, an official registry record and practical tools for sharing the certification with buyers.

Apply for Certification

Certificate and Mark Files

Your certificate and approved Mark files show that your individual creative practice completed the Maker Verified review.

Official Registry Record

Your registry record gives buyers an official place to confirm your name and certification number. It is created when your approved account is activated.

Tools You Can Use

Badges, QR codes, social graphics, watermarks and buyer letters help you use the certification without building every asset from scratch.

YOUR CERTIFICATION TOOLKIT

The materials included with an approved certification.

Some materials help people recognize the certification. Others connect them to the registry or explain what the certification covers.

Personalized Certificate

A certificate showing your approved name, certification number and information for checking the registry record.

Approved Mark File Suite

Approved Mark files prepared for websites, print, social media, packaging and other permitted uses.

Customizable Social Graphics

Templates for announcing certification and creating approved graphics for social media and other marketing uses.

Official Registry Record

An official registry record where buyers can confirm your name and certification number. This record is separate from the optional directory profile.

Badge & Verification QR Code

A website badge and personal QR code that direct people from digital or printed materials to your registry record.

Buyer Certification Letter

A letter you can generate for a buyer, gallery or recipient that explains your certification and links back to your registry record.

REGISTRY BY DEFAULT. PROFILE BY CHOICE.

The official record is automatic. The expanded profile is optional.

Your registry record is created when your approved account is activated. The certificate, badge and QR code connect buyers to that official record so they can confirm your name and certification number.

You may also choose to publish an expanded directory profile with a photograph, biography, discipline, location, website and social links. Publishing, unpublishing or removing that profile does not change your registry record, certificate, QR code or certification.

YOUR MEMBER TOOLS

Keep your certification materials and creator tools together.

Approved artists and makers receive a member portal for downloading assets, managing the optional directory profile and creating buyer-facing materials.

  1. Build or Publish Your Profile

Add or update your photograph, biography, discipline, location, website and social links, then choose whether the profile appears in the directory.

  2. Download Approved Assets

Access the certificate, approved Mark files, badge formats and other certification materials associated with your account.

  3. Create Shareable Graphics

Use the built-in editor to create certification graphics for common social and promotional formats while keeping the Mark consistent.

  4. Generate Buyer Materials

Create your verification QR code and buyer certification letters that connect recipients back to your registry record.

BUYER CERTIFICATION LETTER

Give buyers a professional explanation they can keep.

The member portal can generate a buyer-facing letter identifying you as the certified creator and linking the recipient to your registry record.

The letter can be prepared for a named recipient, include a note from you, display your QR code and provide a unique reference. It may accompany work provided to a buyer or gallery, but it is not a separate inspection or certification of that individual piece.

HOW YOU CAN USE IT

Use the certification where people already encounter your work.

The Mark helps people recognize the certification. The registry lets them check it. The remaining materials help you explain it in the places where you already communicate with buyers.

Digital Presence

Display approved certification materials on your website, portfolio, artist biography, social profiles, email signature and marketplace listings.

Physical Presentation

Use permitted formats on packaging, hang tags, booth signage, printed portfolios, press kits, promotional materials and other buyer-facing displays.

Buyer & Gallery Communication

Share your registry link, QR code or buyer certification letter with collectors, galleries, platforms, press contacts and professional partners.

AFTER APPROVAL

What happens once certification is approved.

After approval, Maker Verified creates your member account, activates the registry record and makes the certification materials available.

  1. Certification Approved

Your approved name and certification number are established following the review decision.

  2. Member Account Activated

You receive access to the portal where your certification assets, optional directory profile and creator tools are managed.

  3. Registry Record Active

Your registry record becomes the official public record buyers can use to confirm your name and certification number.

  4. Materials Ready

Download the approved files, use the creator tools and publish an expanded directory profile only when you choose to.
