No. Certification applies to the approved creator and disclosed creative process. Maker Verified does not separately inspect or certify each artwork, product, edition or collection.
Does human-made mean the creator cannot use tools or software?
No. Artists may use ordinary tools, equipment, software, machinery and repeatable processes. The central question is whether the human creator remains responsible for the meaningful creative decisions that determine the work.
Can a badge or certificate be out of date?
Yes. Images may be copied, altered or retained after certification ends. Buyers should confirm current status through the official Maker Verified verification record.
What should I do if a certification claim appears misleading?
Submit a good-faith concern with the creator or business name, relevant links, dates and lawfully obtained supporting information. A submitted concern does not by itself establish a violation.
