Maker Verified certification applies to the certified artist, maker, or creator and the disclosed creative process reviewed against the Maker Verified Standard. Certification reflects Maker Verified’s review of whether the defining ideas, artistic expression, creative judgment, and creative decisions within that process remain human-led rather than generated or materially determined by generative AI. Certification does not mean that a person, studio, business, workflow, or individual work is completely free from artificial intelligence or other technology. Maker Verified does not certify individual works as “AI-free,” separately inspect or authenticate each work, or guarantee any particular work, product, listing, claim, sale, or transaction.
Certification is not a warranty or guarantee of artistic quality, originality, authenticity, ownership, legality, value, provenance, condition, intellectual property rights, or future compliance with the Maker Verified Standard. Maker Verified is not a party to transactions between certified artists, makers, or creators and buyers or other third parties and does not assume responsibility for the performance or outcome of any transaction.
